do 'double hearts' only apply to 2?

Only 2 of my accounts are receiving the double hearts.

I know this for a fact as this account is receiving 10 per day.I tested it yesterday to today. I have purchased double hearts and the 'top 2' accounts are both receiving that per day. Is this normal or a glitch?

20 instead of 10, only applies to red not gold.
