New players have to play 5 unranked games to go into ranked. Now, we can all agree that unranked is mostly just a bunch of circle jerkers, so I propose instead:

green hearts- have new players play green hearts. basically a regular game but with 2-3 mentors in it, that can guide the new players to know the rules and how to play

I like this idea but the green hearts would rarely be used honestly

Scheduled mentor games in red heart are fine. Don't need another heart colour for it, also this way lucid doesn't need to code anything for it to happen

Machi is right that the best solution would be a mini tutorial cheat sheet for new accounts but Lucid won't even do that

It's pointless. 1) it's never going to get coded. 2) not enough people care to be mentors.

I'd be a mentor if I cared about ranked.

there should just be a tutorial that you can skip that explains mechanics and what the rules of the site are. then gt alts can't claim ignorance when they claim they dont know the rules, even if most people skip the tutorial it would be new players responsibility to read up on the rules.

mentors are never online especially not 2 or 3 all at the same time lol. there arent nearly enough brand new players to make any sort of separate queue work at all
