The Resistance Game 4

It seems this game has gained a lot of popularity in this lobby, and I want to see what it's like as the host.

All 3 of the games played thus far have ended in evil being victorious. So as per the idea of HighSpace, I will incorporate an extra servant to the game making it 7 good, 4 evil.

This will decrease the chances of placing evil members on missions and increase the Merlin pool for Assassin to shoot in.

6 players are needed to accept or reject any mission

also i'm really conflicted on this mission? my read on Bryce isn't solid, so if it fails it will leave me more uncertain than certain so i will reject

i'm also not sold on which of HS and Jeff is scum so i dont want to risk another fail

i mean yeah it does but.... when you get into an argument about a strategy you used in a different game, it offers up the possibility for a big convoluted back-and-forth with circular reasoning and i feel like it just distracts town from solving the game

so when i had that text rant about how i detest more than anything in this game being when scum passes mission one it was all wifom to set up for this game when i knew id sub in as scum 2 weeks later and use it as the ultimate swetup to deceive you

I don't know why you're trying to bring in the first resistance game where you raged about scum not passing mission 1. It's plausible that you thought stashio would fail it, hence why you didn't fail it yourself as well. You're going to dismiss it, because from your pov you're town. But to say it's an unreasonable theory, that doesn't work

Am I just supposed to ignore something from my POV that could aide me in finding scum? I’m not saying you have to follow my read on HS but if I know that him and I have discussed how insanely moronic it is to pass mission 1 as scum, and then he pushes a read I could be scum who passed mission 1, am I just supposed to ignore that?
see like i get where you're coming from but that's a thing between just you two you know? Talking about it just makes me & everyone else confused because it has no relevance to the game that's going on right now

but anyway that all being said and seeing Jeff's response to the fail, my reads are beginning to change. I could definitely see HS being a scum trying his darndest to be extra active to come off as town.

HS has made two comments now about how he doesn't like how i'm "buddying" with him when I've just been trying to state my opinions/reads regarding him because tillie & arisuu were calling him out as scummy. I had HS pegged as town so of course I will plead my opinion as to why I think that....

but HS continuing to say i'm "buddying" him is suspicious. It seems like he is trying to pin the blame on anyone else possible so that he won't be in the spotlight
how in the world does the reasoning behind my reads not affect you people

i don't think this is out of the realm of possibilities, although it is a stretch. because it's not like mafia can PM about this stuff right? so they couldn't really plan it; it'd be like one of the scum took a chance

mafia can't PM each other, and yes, it's possible we had 2 scum and that's why I listed it as the reason for people not to want to take my proposition.

With that said, if you think there were 2 scum last round, you definitely shouldn't accept this one lol. If you think bryce is maf, don't accept. If you think I'm town, don't accept. We lost one life, so if you're willing to sacrifice this life as well, make sure it's worth it.

Yes, that is my fear. People thinking that there were 2 scum last mission or that bryce was the new scum that failed it. Which is why I WANT THE TOWN TO MAKE SURE THEY THINK MY REPLACEMENT IS A TOWN!!!! DONT ACCEPT IF YOU DONT THINK BRYCE IS TOWN!

am i correct in thinking that if this mission fails, you're not completely cleared? since hypothetically both you and Jeff could be scum, and one of you could have passed it?
