his income here probably pays his restaurant bill each month

mods doing a strike maybe isnt enough to get his attention. why not do something that forces him to log on. like bringing this motherf'ucker down

theres been over 500 mods if you guys weren't obsessed with them you could have probably kept the good ones
what good ones ?
kylehlp123almost 9 years ago
Yea! If you guys just kept the good mods then people like wouldn't have had the chance to run this place to the ground

Why did the server get reset? Does this mean Lucid is still active?

ive been here for like a really, embarassingly long time, and i firmly believe the site is dying.

i find it unlikely that lucid will pull the plug since he gets income from the site, but we have far more people leaving than we do coming.

people are going to keep leaving/losing interest until, in my opinion, there will only be a couple games a day - if that many.

i think it still has another year or so
same and I've been here longer than him

Lucid still owns epicmafia, right? Also, how does he even make money....I don't think buying colored text or background pics is too profitable

Anyone notice the correlation of me stepping down as a mod and the graphs start to plummet
i thought you got fired
No lol. I told them I didn't want to return

I stopped playing because I got bored of this environment and didn't want to play a game filled with so much pointless drama, e.g. the non-stop talk of the mod team. The only reason I played this game in the first place is because I thought it was a great community. Now everyone I knew and used to like on here hardly plays so I think to myself why do I want to waste time in a shtty community when there are a hundred other things I could be doing out there.

look, i want him to be active as well, i'm just explaining that/how it simply isn't a priority for phil and that's fine; it's his site and his life and we have to accept that and deal with the site that we have right now

Bebop
he's described it before as just "slightly profitable"
"slightly profitable" is a bit more to someone who's likely made millions compared to people like us
deleteddeletedalmost 9 years ago
it's actually paradoxical; the donations are just an excuse to not pay attention to the site

it probably takes him 3 years at most to make what the site itself is worth right now OFF the website. it simply isn't worth selling for him and it isn't really worth it for him to spend more time here either. it's sad, but true.

i think tens of thousands of free dollars might be a little overestimation of how much bank epicmafia dot com rolls in
not since 08 lol, my point stands
