What makes a great player?

Vestigealmost 9 years ago

There's been a debate about this but we've never gotten a true definition for what defines a pro player.

Define it yourself. Some people value being difficult to read higher than scumhunting, some people vice versa, some rate arguing and winning ccs more. Personally I think the best players are the ones that will almost win a 3 way lylo no clears regardless of alignment

Being able to scumhunt correctly is only half of the game.

Part of the game is also to convince others to vote with you.

Anyone that makes other people want to play the game despite how the community as a whole is.

if their name is DatGuiser, soda, Darron, Jeff, Brownpimp, Private, or Pranay
Who ever called you a legend? And ABC is James, not Darron

you'll hear ppl saying it's being good at scumhunting, towntelling and persuading

but a pro player is basically someone who wins most of their games in competitive setups in tables without their friends when they aren't n1'ed/n2'ed

Someone who makes money off playing mafia and I think powerofdeath won some tokens for winning a vivor game which counts. I'd say he's one of the elite.
