More Unranked Games for Newbies

For a game to not be annoying, the people in it have to be, well, not annoying. It is infuriating, to an extent, when you enter a game and the pr, your mafia teammate, the cop, a cleared townie, or just a regular blue doesn't know how to play because they ruin the game by (unintentionally) throwing.

In no way do I want new players punished for messing up games. What I think would be the best for them would be to increase the number of unranked games played before you can play ranked.

Instead of having GT vios for new players, could we instead them a leash if they unintentionally threw?

A leash as in, having a set number of unranked games that need to be played in order for another ranked game to be played.
there is a thing about reporting new players, but this is about the experience

I also think that if you have linked accounts and you make a new profile that you shouldnt have to play unranked again

People learn basic knowlege like idunno... how the game works? I also think that it would make the game more welcoming now that less people ruin games

Do you really think that Having a fresh noavi jump into a ranked game would be any better than having him play an unranked game first?

And don't spew any of that about how people aren't as good of players in unranked games. They still know the basic concepts and will be more willing to help the noavi out, whereas in ranked they will capitalize on the noavi's weaknesses and he will be lost and confused and end up either lynched, killed, tricked, or he will suicide from confusion. Then he will never play epicmafia again.

Now don't give me that about "well we didn't want him anyways", because I KNOW people are constantly complaining about this site dying. MAYBE IF YOU F*CKING STOP HAVING THAT "just suck it up retards" ATTITUDE THEN PEOPLE WOULD LIKE THIS SITE YOU DUMB IDIOT.

that is true, but after 25 or so games they should be better and, well, not banned.
Pretty sure the point he was trying to make was they don't play any games by being banned.

The problem isn't the amount of unranked games, more so the types of unranked games being played and the players in them. Just about every unranked game you join it is filled w/ a group of friends circlejerking, hardly do they ever play to their win condition. They'd rather throw for their friend instead of playing the game how it's supposed to.
Although that is a big problem, i dont know how to solve it. I agree with you fully though.
