Yeah they do. I just saw that if you really don't want to have disc drive you can always buy a usb stick of windows 10. I don't see why you wouldn't want a disc drive just in case, like if you ever wanted to burn a cd or something
Yeah it does you knock out the piece where it goes. The way it works is you knock out the sections to where you're putting stuff in. It's a lot easier to boot up from a disc, especially when you're building your own computer. It's only an extra 20-40$.
If you're alright buying it then that's fine, i'm just cheap and try to cheat. Like I had a pirate version of windows 7 then they offered me a free version to upgrade for a limited time so I took it.
i found a $19 optical drive, but do you know if amazon/ebay sells windows 10?

Oh also don't be fooled with getting a wifi adapter if you can't do direct connection, those suck. What you want to get is a power line adapter, it plugs directly into your router/modem, then you plug it into the wall right next to the modem/router. Then you take the other plug in and plug it in next to your computer and hook it up to your computer. You'll have twice the speed that way compared to wifi.
i already have an ethernet port in my room, under my desk
also i dont think its worth it getting a disk drive (i dont use CD's) plus the case doesnt have a spot for it
plus, idk if i want windows 7, i would much rather windows 10

Wherever you can get asus like for motherboard. I'm a big asus fanboy and its never lead me astray.
Also another point to make, you can get windows for free. What you do is you download windows on to some discs, and you take the activation key you have at the bottom of a laptop. When it prompts you to provide a key when downloading the windows from a disc, put the key you got from the bottom of a laptop. This will give you windows 7 most likely unless you have a window 10 laptop then it'll give you 10. Theres a lot of ways to upgrade for free from 7 to 10.
Personally I'd not buy any box-and-ship computer because a huge chunk of those are overkilling on one part or the other; it's worth using one of the companies that offer custom builds/part swaps and even if you're blank on PC building it's very little research.
(Xidax is good at this and offer good parts for good prices)
Yeah my nvidea card presets everything to ultra and i haven't had much problems. I may have to mess with the resolution time to time.

Do you play games in ultra? And I guess you're right but an extra stick doesn't jack up the price too high. But I guess you can spend that extra money on a better cPU or GPU
and 16 gb isn't overkill if OP is planning to play AAA games
I only have 8 and i play AAA games on a 55inch screen. I haven't ever thought i needed more ram. Unless he's trying to mod his games into oblivion I can't see it. If he doesn't know much about computers then that's probably not what he's doing.

I'm sure it's fine for your needs. Though I distinctly remember owning a Seagate Baraccuda HD and it completely died on me in about 4 years. You also might want to upgrade your memory from 8GB to 16GB.
