alts cant send pms

this is a bug report but 0 points users cant post in that forum

there's a lot of things legitimate users can't do for the sake of a few spammers who can get around it anyway

anyway, if i switch cub to my main i can send pms but if i switch it back to an alt (which i do for security reasons, this blocks certain hijacking attempts that used to work on mains and i don't want to sacrifice security for spam) then i cant

EVEN THOUGH my main is activated and this account WAS the original activated account, alts can't send pms because spammers or something

well this sucks... so when someone pm your alt you need to go in your main to pm them back .-. cool...

This is excellent news.

There are so many trolls that use alternate accounts to troll users and quite frankly, it is unacceptable.

I am glad Lucid implemented this divine change.

I'm assuming Lucid didn't actually mean to block alts because a spammer could just switch their main repeatedly. He probably just wanted to block accounts that weren't activated but (as always) lacked the foresight to realize how such a change would affect alts.

That or he's completely incompetent and intended for this blocking of alts. Either way the fact that it took him several days to implement such a half-assed fix is unbelievable.

this account was activated before it had any alts, there's no reason it shouldn't work as an alt then

my alts are all linked together but for some reason only my main shows as having the email activated so i guess i cant send pms on any of my alts anymore lol
