Hi guys, for one of my assignments at university I'm looking at whether there is a significant difference in gender patterns between different kind of games, using epicmafia as one of my examples. If you could, please vote on the poll for your gender and, if you really want to help me out, describe if your experience of games (epicmafia and others) and its community has been affected by your gender (this could be in any way; even feeling players appeal to you in mafia because you are a girl with a real life avatar could be an example). Any opinion is great since I won't be guaranteed to use it, but even just voting is a great help.
Thank you :)

I've been accosted through the internet for as long as I can remember. Older men would border on play-fun and sincere pedophilia, and for a while I was too young to know the difference. I remember playing Call of Duty 3 on Xbox 360. If men weren't telling me to get back in the kitchen or telling me that I blow (emphasizing the word blow--saying blow multiple times, sometimes, with a drawn inflection, after saying that I blow) they were telling me that I wasn't good enough to be an astronaut. If they weren't doing either of those things, they were sending pictures of their genitalia to my inbox, requesting a one-to-ten rating. I was five years old.

girls will get thirsted on because us geeky men are hardwired to spread our seed far and wide
Because I chose to do something interesting and something that I could personally gather data relatively quickly in, even if this thread turns into a troll I still have other sources but the dynamics of the sight are unique enough I'd really want to include it. Having spent the whole first semester studying "actual gender issues", I didn't want to write on the same topic again

i dunno why this assignment is focusing on video games that seems slightly lame to me, what about actual gender issues like employment prospects and how state support differs for single parents or the high school/college experience or literally ANYTHING ELSE !!!
Just, look, it is a common knowledge that if you are female in an online game, males usually treat you better. This is why lot of males pretend to be females.
I suggest you add the other 32 genders. All of them may get offended at you.
I didn't add a non binary/other option because there's so little research done into the area, and NONE that concerns gaming of any kind, so I really wouldn't know how to explain the results
