In this game he claims vested to try and get Minie to claim blacksmith

She is there to intentionally try to lose so being vested herself and seeing CrayRay claiming that she vested her means that in her mind CrayRay is the real blacksmith, so she tries to throw by saving Gerry

That seems to be the most plausible explanation for that bizarre game
