anything goes round

for the round after the next in christmas spirit i think we should do a PURGE type round where absolutely anything goes for the entirety of the 10 day period. after the PURGE is up stats are rolled back to what they were before the round. all rules including gamethrowing, cheating, bug abuse are entirely permissible and even ENCOURAGED!

pros

good fun for all the family

gives the moderators a WELL-DESERVED break for a few days. since there'll be no rules there'll be no reports either!

switch up from the monotonous grind of regular mafia

those who like purely unranked will still be able to play that

cons

those who want to play seriously won't be able to for a few days, but i don't really think that's a huge deal

i don't know if a "roll back" is possible, but i think the stats being reset is a pretty major part of this being fair.

In theory this sounds funny and entertaining.

In practice it will probably become a game of getting all your friends into the same table so they can throw for you.

I respect the push to make cheating more acceptable though – that speaks of someone who truly is passionate about his cheating.

Remember when we convinced Rutab to suspend Prevail one minute before the round reset even though he didn't cheat because he lied about having cancer that one time?
