This all came up today after my roommate and I stopped in the road because a squirrel had a heart attack or something of the sort, and just laid down whimpering
We picked him up with my roommates jacket and put him in the grass so he wouldn't get run over
He was slowly dying in the grass crying in pain :(
type "local volunteering" into google and find a plethora of ways to help out your community
volunteer at your local soup kitchens or homeless shelters
