Proper Forum moderation

Hello, recently I've seen yet another topic become victim to deletion despite it doing nothing wrong. I would like to request the following to be the official guidelines to moderation the forums. As follows:

A topic should be deleted when:

  1. The topic itself breaks the site rules

A topic should not be deleted if

  1. It's not "valuable"
  2. You do not agree with the opening post
  3. Users are giving bad replies
  4. The topic is "going nowhere"
  5. It is not in the right subforum(move the topic!)
  6. It is causing drama

In all of these cases, the topic can be moved, locked or have any posts that do break the rules deleted. If the opening post does not break the rules, then you should not treat it like it has.

I implore that mods take this extremely simple idea and reference this whenever they want to delete a topic.

I didn't say they were good, but they are the roles we already have.

Pls tell me who is moderating the forums? Who is deleting all the troll comments and giving violations to the trolls?

If i am admin, instead of modding 16 mods that do their job poorly, i will split them into 3 - Forum Mods, Anti-Cheating mods and Report Mods.

It would be nice if there were moderators who actively wanted to help the community by fixing the forums.
Obvious joke about modding me

In all honesty the forums are treated like a skype group and they have the same level of child mentality as them

Serious subject, someone sh!tposts, OP complains, people mock OP, mod upvotes to stroke egos, it goes nowhere.

This stuff seriously could be saved for a skype/discord group, that or the entire rules section regarding forums should be deleted.

The topic that was deleted earlier was not a troll.

I even posted it in the correct subforum "complaints"

If everyone start to troll, then a topic should be locked.
You can delete the posts of the people going off topic, or give them violations for forum spamming. (only if it's excessive)
