EM Debate: Signups

This is solely based on EM issues. No religion, abortion, or anything related to IRL

Game

  • Participant choose ONE partner
  • Teams hear the topic and take positions (pro and con.)
  • Teams discuss their topics and come up with statements
  • Teams deliver their statements/evidence and offer main points
  • Teams discuss the opposition's argument and come up with rebuttals
  • Rebuttals delivered
  • Closing statements made

There will be no eliminations. I will announce the winners of each round.

Rules

If you do not follow the rules, you will be disqualified

  • No trolling
  • Respect each others opinions
  • No rage-quitters

The country I live in operates on GMT but I personally tend to function in correlation with EST.

I am 23 years and 7 months of age.

I am passionate about debating. I have partaken in many debate clubs, groups and competitions for several years, varying from casual meetings to national trophy runners.

I request two days for break, allowing us all to recuperate and prepare for the next enthralling topic.

As Rutab has already indicated, we will be partners for this debate contest.
