Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same)

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

I've concluded we can't have mafia games here. If you like forum mafia check out http://forum.mafiascum.net i believe it's the biggest forum mafia community. I'll play this one out but it's probably gonna crash and burn.

I actually do agree with Shears' reads. They're some of the stuff that bugged me about Ideal, but I'll see how it turns out as the game goes on.

I didn't ask if mods wanted you to stay in but okay.

I think quitting and giving up is the pinnacle of unpleasant and left a bad taste in everyone's mouth and now we have to deal with all your "post quit" posts that we don't know what context to read them in, leaving the game integrity damaged.

ANYWAYS,

I think claiming PR out of nowhere, along with it being something so out there when the hosts specifically said the game won't have a role list but that they promise to keep the game normal, made your claim even more damning.

To me it reads as you trying to get some credibility to kill off a ML in a game of closed setup where sacking yourself to kill off a town ML is actually incredibly optimal as mafia.

Mods want me to stay in. Yes, you are being unpleasant and obnoxious in a game sense. I want you to be more clear in your arguments instead of whatever it is you're doing. You already tried to explain why you didn't like it and the least I got out of it is that I did it before, which isn't conclusive.

Spamming? I guarantee you I have never made a post that wasn't in reply to someone else. Stop trying to white knight and be a peace maker when this is literally nothing other than an overreaction by an adult man in a game of Mafia.

He is being a baby and he called me unpleasant and obnoxious. We both said how we feel and that was that. I haven't made continued personal attacks. I don't care if you agree with him or you agree with me, the last thing I want to see is you coming in when it's not necessary. I can sort this out with Retti and your help is not needed nor requested nor desired.

Wow so much drama in the time that I was rereading. Anyways, so far I only have one hard tr on impoetic. I had initially also tr ponylove because she pointed out how everyone was so serious with their reads so early in the game and it just came off genuine but it was weird how she zoned in on Himiko. Himiko is another person who lost an initial hard tr from me because she seemed overly defensive in the whole interaction with ponylove but overall I think she's townier than everyone else aside from impoetic and pony.



As for the lynch, Ideal is the best choice right now. None of his posts seemed townie to me at all and almost everything he said was filler, which honestly I can forgive because everyone has fillered at some point but the few reads he did out were weak, like when I got to page 10 he was still going on about townreading denial's first post which at this point he should have had other reads. Also his reaction to being voted is to freak out and say town sucks instead of pointing out who would be a better lynch which makes him stand out as most anti town right now.

My replacement is not fully related to you, I just said it was about the state of the game and the attitudes being presented. Sure, you are included in it but it wasn't personal. This town is going to lose if pages keep being made out like complaint drama threads where people going in longwinded arguments with each other.

Tell me what I said that was wrong and that I should stop saying, outside of calling the person who is whining a manbaby.

I didn't make an attack at him. I merely said I didn't like his line, IN A GAME OF MAFIA, and he acted clueless so I quoted it back at him and he subbed out.

It's not personal at all, it's about how the game is going. Your playstyle is very hard to deal with and not enjoyable, but instead you want to make it out a bigger than it is.
