Welcome to Forum Mafia 19: Forbidden Actions!

Game is over. Ended on Day 5

Mafia wins! This game was ranked.

The mastermind's behind this game are Gerry, Mori and myself.

The game will be played like any other Forum Mafia game, with one twist! Every player will be given an action pregame. If the action they are given is performed, they will be Killed from the game, with their forbidden action being shown afterward. More information will be given under Rules.

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days. 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II. The Set Up:

  • There is no "possible roles list". I promise not to get too crazy.

  • Mafia will have Day chat. And will know each other's Forbidden Actions

  • You will get an Alignment PM. Town or Mafia and your alignment will not change.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same)

As explained earlier, there will be forbidden actions. YOU CANNOT SHARE YOUR FORBIDDEN ACTION. If found to, you will be mod killed. If you commit the forbidden action, you will be killed from the game. You may speculate forbidden actions of others within the game. If asked whether your forbidden action is something, you cannot confirm or deny. You can also not soft or hint as to what your forbidden action is.

We also will be strict about ISP and replacements. If you think for any reason you MAY have to be replaced, do not sign up. We also reserve the right to deny anyone from joining, if we believe you will troll, isp, sub.

IV. Votes:

  • Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

  • I will not take any other type of vote. If I can't tell who you're voting, I won't take it.

MOD NOTE Mori will be giving out a token prize to a player from each alignment who the hosts determined played best.

So you'd we rather gamble on your own reads, not to mention we don't even know if you're legit, versus using a tactic which is essentially just double lynching today.

Yeah okay whatever sure. It wasn't a good idea and if anyone modkills themselves, they will get a fist up their @$$ in post game. I won't be able to block into a mislynch if someone modkills themselves.

And look this game is not much different from java mafia. WHEN THE F*** is it ever a good idea to lynch the oracle in java mafia? That's right. Never. Hell, even when mafia sacs oracle it's usually pretty bad. Oracle is like the backbone of the town. And no, I was on and off about Retti. I concluded he was town after some time.

Literally we can do the same thing today to get an extra lynch. Get people to commit to votes, force them to break their action, and then if they don't they're confirmed mafia and we lynch them. It's an EXTRA LYNCH. It has nothing to do with morals you prat.

agreed, we had reasoning at the time and they would have died either way so yeah fmpov at the time it looked pretty good and your reasoning against it didn't really seem that good when literally everyone else was for it it seemed like and you didn't really add anything to the case

Babylonia/Kassidy not on the same scum team. I don't think the whole ascetic thing was theatre that was orchestrated in the scum PT. I believe Kassidy responded fairly well and genuine to that attack and I believe it was just one of the many cases of reaching from Babylonia.
I was literally just outting a possibility you impossible dolt. There was no attack.

Babylonia/Kassidy not on the same scum team. I don't think the whole ascetic thing was theatre that was orchestrated in the scum PT. I believe Kassidy responded fairly well and genuine to that attack and I believe it was just one of the many cases of reaching from Babylonia.

Impoetic is scum. I cannot at all see 3 investigative roles. One of which already having a role cop power that she claims to have.

Shears is probably scum here as well. Everyone's had her as town, and I happen to disagree with that one. I think she's playing the best scum game out of everyone here. If anyone wins scum MVP it's probably her.

Ripple is mod confirmed town so lol.....

Fairly sure Denial and Ultra are town as well, I could reread if I want, but I might just trust myself here.

Gun to head 3/3 Impoetic/Babylonia/Shears as said before.

it is a low-blow, i agree. i thought there was 4 mafia and we had the potential to lose there because i wasn't 100% convinced ponylove was scum

however, if n1ed also was modkilled, we could've had the chance to lynch the roleblocker scum yesterday

I would have told you all this during the whole Pony fiasco, but unfortunately I was at work. I really think you would've listened to me when I said modkilling was a bad idea. Hell, Retti said that modkilling was stupid.

And asking someone to modkill themselves out of the game is 1. a low-blow. They have taken time out of their lives to participate in quite a mind engaging experience. 2. Incredibly f***ing stupid. Especially if it's a PR. N1ed and PonyLove could've been really helpful in the later course of the game, but since one got modkilled and one got lynched we're basically screwed. I am the only person who can prevent every single day being MYLO.

Alright home.

For the final time. I am not a f***ing idiot. It is actually downright insulting that you think I would claim as a roleblocker as scum when I have several other options. This. Is. My. Genuine. Role.

Denial, if I'm getting lynched then so be it. But I am NOT modkilling myself. This is for one of 2 reasons.

1. I can only trust myself to lynch mafia. I haven't had much luck yet, but I need a few flips to gain information then I start solving the game. You of all people should know that I take things very easy on day 1 in mafia then I go full beast mode in the latter portion of the game.

2. If we mislynch, I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN PREVENT AUTOLOSS. If I block the mafia that makes the kill, then we gain another opportunity to lynch. If we lynch correctly, I can block into a mislynch. We're not lynching me, we're not modkilling me. Period. End of statement.
