Welcome to Forum mafia 18 Pick Your Power edition! (With a Club theme)

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II The Set Up:

Some Basic details:

  • The Mafia to Town Ratio is 3:11
  • Mafia have DayTalk

The set up itself:

  • You will first get an Alignment pm Town or Mafia and you're alignment can not change

Example PM

You will win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

"Oh you're one of those good guys huh? Figures anyway welcome to the club enjoy your stay! Just try not to get yourself hurt..."

Welcome Ripple! You are aligned with the Mafia.

You are partners with (Player name) and (Player name) you share a day talk here (url here)

Each night, one of you or your partners may perform the factional kill. You may kill and perform your role action during the same night.

"I knew some people would try and rebel against this lovely club don't worry though I'm not one to judge just don't get caught too early eh?"

To confirm that you know your alignment, you must send me a number for the draft along with what you're alignment is

The draft will then start

The lowest unique number will draft first, followed by the next unique numbers in lowest > highest order, then the Highest duplicate numbers > Lowest duplicates.

Example PM:

"Well done you have placed (number) in the draft now please pick from this list!

  • Doctor or Role Blocker
  • 1 shot Vigilante or 1 Shot Granny
  • Cop or 1 Shot Driver
  • 1 hit Bp or Bomb
  • Jailer or Tracker
  • Night 3 Vigilante or Hunter
  • Role Cop or Universal Backup
  • Follower or Voyeur

If you pick a slot that someone higher in the draft then you picked you will be vanilla/goon

After this will you get a final role PM and you must PM me back with your role what you do and what side you are on.

Gerrys reads are just so goddam bad there's no way he is Mafia since I think he would at least have some good townreads and probably buss at least one of his partners. This is definately a town with no information since I don't think his ego would let him fake such awful reads as Mafia.

That was not my question but whatever I see your pov and it could go either way. I think mafia would not benefit from backpedaling in this instance.

ftr gerry/sports/pony are my fosses but i wouldn't confidently say that i'm 3/3. unless in a few days we find out that i was right the whole time in which case i knew it all along

Papuito - I think this is a reasonably difficult read so I am not surprised no one else really scum reads papuito. I think his participation has been kind of textbook Mafia and is one of the ways I would consider playing Mafia in forum Mafia. He has the image of being a towny participator like Himiko, but none of the genuiness or actual pushing on his scum reads being Mafia no his townread being town. Either he is super unconfident (which I completely doubt) or he is Mafia. I also don't think his reasons for most of his reads are logical, lthough some I can agree with. His reaction to me wanting him lynched could be taken as towny - "I see how Gerry felt last game" but honestly he could say it as Mafia or town and it seems like rather than explaining his scumtells he has simply just tried to brush off my read by saying I'm bad. This is not towny.

Papuito leaning Mafia.
I listed pap as one of my sr and 2nd to lynch after minecraft. This hasn't change over the past posts they have made. Mine is just sheeping at this point and has not outed any useful reads whatsoever. Pap's list of reads was just echoing what others have said and did not contribute anything new. I would be happy with a lynch between either of these two.

Sports, don't out your role there's no need to it only helps Mafia we already know you are a useful pr. Mabye claim it tomorrow but you aren't being lynched today anyway.

Yoyo idgaf how people read me so long as they lynch some of my SCUMREAD first so my reads can speak for me being town.
first part - disagree. mafia will be trying way harder than us to find sports role, and with the, mind you, 3 role slot choices they get along with the already claimed power roles, it shouldn't be hard for any permutation of mafias to get his role down to 2 or 3 possibilities. i feel like it's considered antitown to ask him to claim but I think it'll be more beneficial to us

assuming sports is pr what do you think sports has learned between saying one thing and the other? i think it's far more likely that he's scum and made a mistake than he's town and made a mistake here

We should not lynch sports today and he should not hardclaim either. Him backpedaling and saying that he can't prove his role overnight after all I think is a towntell. If he were mafia trying to survive they would just stick with his original "I can prove my role overnight" they would have no reason to say, "oh nm about that" as they could come up with a plan with their partners to cc or claim a role.

Mine - filler all game, it's hard to call mine either way since she is pretty much equally useless as both alignment but it still seems like she is TRYING to find Mafia. I don't like the way she is just sheeping Gerry so if Gerry is Mafia I wouldn't be surprised if mine was too, but it could just be because she wants to sheep him like she sheeps soda and Cody. I would not be opposed at all to a liability lynch on mine and I completely understand people scum reading her. Overall though I would be inclined to read her as town.
I'd lynch you over minecraft all day.
Another STELLAR participation from Gerry. Thanks for that I really appreciate the effort you put into this game.

n1ed it's a blatant contradiction, why would anyone confidently say that they could "definitely" become clear by tomorrow and then backpedal. supposedly sports is some role that can't clear itself so why did he say he could clear himself?
