I don't know how you took any of that as thinking I deserved anything, I don't really care what people say or think about me. I deal with people calling me everything under the sun all day.They can get mad, that does not mean they have to act on it in this way. It's all of our business how they treat other players, whether it's myself or you or someone randomly. This website and game are for all of us, there's a reason there's rules about harassment and cheating and OPI and hateful comments.Getting upset is one thing, making other players never want to play main again (And they don't, I know because they told me) is another. Being fine with being harassed and having all kinds of vile comments spewed out you for 30 minutes and even hours on end should not be a prerequisite for playing mafia on a website meant for fun.
sorry for the game, i did mess up w sheep. brendan said he admits he messed up too. i understand that a lot of the people in these games r young/play this as a hobby, so comp means a lot to them, so i dont take their anger personally.
tatami is right tho in saying it could really harm someone who is less experienced/just starting out with the game, esp if they have mental health issues
lol @ iverson - you think people owe you something or what? as far as i'm concerned, anyone can get mad whenever they want to and as much as they feel like it. don't publicly shame people for getting "pissed off" at a game, because they're free to do so. it's none of your business how they should act; it's the internet.
i don't rage when i lose games myself, but i have no problem with somebody getting upset at a loss. it's on you that you shouldn't be hurt by words.
And players wonder why people are afraid to play in main. I don't think I've ever been this upset at something in the game in the past year.
Seph and Brendan can both handle it, they're both mature people and excellent players who know they're more than capable. Despite their excellence, they still were subjected to this. What do you do with players that don't have that confidence? What do you do with players that don't want to get like this spammed at them just because they lost a game?
What do you do when two top tier players are too afraid to play because this is what they'll have to put up with? What do you do when it's not even their fault but they have to put up with this kind of horseshit anyway? I don't think I've ever been this upset. This is disgraceful.
