HOT TIPS: - if you have duplicate pokemon, transfer the lower cp ones to crush their delicate bodies into sweet sweet candy - in the "nearby" tab, each footstep symbol means 50m, 0 footsteps means you're within 50 m (although this feature is reportedly broken as hell) - it's more efficient to power up a fully evolved pokemon than to spend stardust/candy on a non fully evolved one - the app must be open while traveling for distance to count during egg incubation - incense is useful in locations without any pokemon nearby, but it's even more useful when there's already a hotspot! - you can gain coins by leaving your pokemon to defend a gym - you can throw curveballs for 10 extra xp by drawing a circle around the pokeball until it shines and then throwing it opposite of it's spin direction - your trainer's level determines the maximum cp of wild pokemon - turn on battery saver mode to only partially destroy your phone
beta is out in Nz and Australia, but obviously I had to make a NZ apple ID cus I cant miss out on it. Sadly I'm still gonna miss out on it cus I somehow managed to eat up 5GB of data in a week.
