Good evening,

We are releasing a beta version of our game search engine and database for public use.

The web address is www.emcache.net

To make an account, send Yvette a pm in the following format:

/register pass=desired_password_here

The slash ( / ) at the beginning is required. Omitting the 'pass=' field will result in a random password.

Please send the message in the message body and NOT the subject line.

You can view games with IDs greater than 5215667 by pasting the Game URL into the search bar. You can also find games containing a certain set of players by entering their usernames.

This tool is maintained by the mod team and not by a third party.

Good afternoon,

Sorry to disappoint, but the emcache project is now discontinued.

You can still scrape game data by going directly to the AWS link:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/em-gamerecords/5331304 (simply replace the number at the end with the game ID you want).

I would not recommend scraping. I'm sure there are JSON parsing libraries in whichever language you're using.

Huh, looks like emcache is down. I'd be interested in writing a Neural AI to work out who the Mafia players are if this could return a textdump of player chat and roles.

I would if I was interested, but I'm willing to bet some users would use the same password for their EM as emcache, and probably the same for their email and all sorts of other accounts.

YVette probably doesn't even retain your password but instead the hash of it.

Guys lucid introduced a feature to save games. That is a premium feature. Please do not bypass it. This is illegal. Next you will find a way to give colored text without buying it. Please discontinue this.

im only concerned that he will sue and shut this site down. its a valuable resource
I assumed losses would be so small, there would be no incentive to sue. I was wrong. Here are my findings:

Lucid could lose at the very most $3 - $5 a year (in token revenue), which is a lot of money if he finds a pro bono lawyer who works for free. Mods would be held personally liable for that amount. I suggest talking to Lucid before pursuing.

my buddy who owns this account was almost sued for defamation because of a report to paypal about not receiving tokens within 2 weeks of paying for them... so yes
Did your buddy contact lucid before reporting to paypal? I had a glitch myself a while back and didn't receive tokens. I emailed lucid and he replied within 30 minutes and added the tokens to my account.
back then lucid wasnt logging in at all and decided that this site wasnt worth his time investment unless paypal was asking for his side of the story.
