Arcbell, I realize, not a dummy. but im not using the account rn so it occurred to me to ask anyway since people HAVE tried (and succeeded) in breaking into my account, as YOU would know...

Arcbell, u just told me a dangerous thing, now i am going to give everybody reset emails :3
Arcbellabout 10 years ago
For example, mist, I just sent you another password reset email to demonstrate, from the home page. You can send me one too <3
Arcbellabout 10 years ago
You can literally enter anyone's name in the password reset field and it will send you a password reset. This is a tactic used to scare people mostly as the person cannot proceed to access your account without access to your email, which you'd know if they had.

If anything the fact that the person was spamming password reset emails to you means they have no access to the account itself.

Mist, anyone can send you a pw recovery email bc of the way EM security works. It doesn't mean your account is compromised, don't worry. I'm going to unlock your account and I guarentee you there's no security risk.
