To summarize, Izzy, if the votes are split between 3 or 4 people at the end of the day, and there's no clear tunnel, the mafia can swing 1 or 2 votes onto a non-mafia without giving themselves away.. because town will be flip flopping a lot too at that point.
izzy, part of the reason I'm tunneling hard is that if we approach the end of the day without a unified idea of who's being lynched, it's pretty much confirmed that mafia won't be lynched.
The reason: mafia can coordinate, we can't. I know I'm town so I know the person I'm tunneling has a chance to be mafia (and in the case of ThirdAug a pretty good chance) but if we leave it up to a group decision everyone will have their own idea and the only unified part of the town will be the mafia doing juuuust enough coordinating to make sure mafia doesn't get lynched.
I've played a lot of forum mafia and this happens pretty much every time on day 1 if there's not a town consensus before the end of day.

This seems like a safe lynch considering the number of reads I've got, worst case scenario is probably that it flips town and then I get lynched tomorrow and then the rest of the town can probably figure it out unless the best players rolled mafia. Unless the town are scummy and the scum are towny we are A-OK!

i don't understand why people want to lynch gerry. i get the thirdaug lynch but arcbell you seem to be tunneling REAL hard.

I command everyone who's thinking "lynching ThirdAug isn't a bad idea" which is basically everyone in the game to change their vote to ThirdAug and concede that your own personal idea for who should be lynched probably isn't going to go through if it's mafia against mafia opposition today. A ThirdAug lynch will though because he's so bad even mafia can't save him.

Reasons: - ISP - Useless contributions - ThirdAug - For some reason no one really objects to lynching him but it's difficult for it to gain traction, which usually happens when it's mafia.
Or maybe I was reading everyone's posts one by one and not just yours? Also, I explained just how and why you are scummy to me. It's funny how you thought I was town and you backpedaled after you saw you can't pocket me, almost like you're trying to survive a lynch rather than trying to find mafia.
