I think the only time I've drunk miserably lately was when I found out my cat has skin cancer. Sad times. He's too old to operate on, but it hasn't spread (as of yet) so hopefully it'll just stay where it is.
i agree. i'm off the bottle for awhile though. nanita dumped me and then some stuff happened that i dont really remember and then i woke up in the hospital the next morning.

My old job went into new management who came in and steamrollered over the old staff and made me do three times as much work for the same pay rate but even less hours. My head chef left to join the pub I now work at, and I drank my way into a job and used him as a connection to get myself a job there a week later.
Plus I now work for a massive chain and will get a 25% off staff discount card in every one of their 600+ pubs as soon as I finish the online training.

lucky u with the job... mine is still freaking awful. funny story actually. the monday before last, i was told my last day with the company is gonna be June 3rd (also happens to be my birthday!!!) and i was like "well that sucks im getting laid off but oh well life goes on".
then on Friday i get pulled aside for another meeting and they're like "uhhhh we changed our mind u can keep ur job pls keep working for us?" honestly i almost said no but woo i get to keep my boring as hell job that pays freakin' peanuts ._.
