i mean you're both right, you really shouldn't have to suffer a loss because a banned user isn't playing legitimately in your game, but it happens all the time.
he did not do anything worthy of being a refund in that game tbh, unless you just say 'well him being a banned user in that game put town at such a disadvantage so we should refund it' which is poor reasoning because i've pretty much never seen these games refunded if it wasnt a prominent user reporting
also i don't really think that justrec game should be refunded either.. but its an interesting one to think about

Apparently you don't have that much control over your tables.
Bonus: Vilden still can't read why I claimed doctor despite me explaining it three times, both of my golds I won without a single refund (and one with a suicide+2 unused hearts+by 200 points), and I have consistently posted the best winrate on the site as Tatami with a minimum of 58% win but averaging about 62% over a year
unlike you tsugumi i have control of my games and dont have to worry about liability players. i dodged maybe 1 table this round
are you actually afraid of "people trolling or gamethrowing" when you queue up? your problem is you take a thousand years towntelling and can't control. this is why u had to hard claim doc to lynch ur fos
you know what, keep the refund for that game if you need that much of a handicap
