hi i've got a friend who really likes asmrdarling on youtube so he used a snapchat picture she made of her eating chick fil a and google earth to find the chick fil a she was eating at so that he knew what city she lived in and then he used another snapchat picture she made of her standing next to her pool at her house to find her house and now he knows her name and address and everything he spent like five hours on it i don't know what he's gonna do with this information but i'm sort of worried that whatever he's gonna do could get him in trouble with the police or fbi or something how would you guys deal with this situation if you had a friend who did this

Yeah I did too and only recently have I even made social media accounts or posted a picture of myself online at all. People found out my personal information from a guy who owed me prize money from a DotA tournament so I gave him my W2

All of this seems pretty mild in general though tbqh, I've had several people find my address and mail me weird sh*t before - I just assumed everyone goes through something like that ever so often if they use the internet enough
