because the line between 'black' and 'white' is a lot more clear than the line between 'pink' and 'brown'; next to that, some 'white' people are light pink, while other 'white' people are actually more light brown, thus creating a difference in classification under the term that was previously 'white'. it's different.

:0 here's the distinguishing thing though

:0 do i think white people face *systematic* racism that minorities face in america? no, and i think that when white americans try to say "but you guys are being racist too" they are blatantly *trying* to ignore the fact that there *are* injustices, instead saying "wow you hurt our feelings". They tend to ignore that normally when people try to bring up the race card, it's because of the injustices that actively hinder their progression in society- instead of the whole "wow you're _____, you disgust me" thing.

:0 of course there are radicals on both sides who adhere to their narrow-minded ways of thinking. :0 this post pays no regard to them
