Hiya, I just played a game where the mafia lynched the oracle, and on d1, it was unveiled to me who the mafia was.
However, that mafia claimed I was bugged and seeing wrong, somehow convinced whole town that I'm lying and town decided not to lynch him cause they would lose for him being "uncced cop".
yo someone hook me up with gerard way's jacket from famous last words

also for the OP
IawIiet 28s I'll tell you how, Icy; you don't realize the entire town is joking and just nling to avoid a 4-way, and then you throw a fit and sui. That's how that happens. I am sorry that I joked around as naked maf, but please try to listen to what the town is telling you next time before you go and accuse me of cheating. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just because a mafia is revealed does not mean it is best for town to lynch them. In your game, there were 6 players alive on day 1 (with one naked mafia). If you lynched the mafia, then the 2nd mafia would simply kill cop and there would be 4 players remaining on day 2.
If town chooses to NL, mafia has the option to no-kill to keep the number of players at 4. The meteor would be on town because the towns were the first to NL.
The meteor is a mechanic to make sure that one alignment takes action (either kill as mafia or lynch as town) to make sure the town and mafia don't repeatedly take no-action (forcing an infinite loop). Which side the meteor goes on depends on which side was the first to "no kill".
Therefore, lynching day 1 would guarantee 4 players alive, giving the 2nd mafia a larger pool to hide in, and lowers town's chance to win the game.
That is why some players said "NL to avoid 4 way". If everyone voted no one day 1, then mafia would kill cop, town would lynch naked mafia, and mafia would kill someone, bringing the final day to 3 players (which eliminates a suspect compared to the 4-player day).
A general rule of thumb is to no-lynch when theres an even number of players and to lynch when theres an odd number of players.
It is sometimes advantageous to lynch when theres an even number, such as when theres 4 players with BP and orc alive.
