...is a new TV show classified as a musical comedy, but the musical aspects are minor and I've heard several accounts saying they hated musicals, but liked shows like this. It doesn't take itself seriously, and there were a couple moments where I felt like it was actually mocking the musical genre.

The genre combined with the repugnant title and premise seems to have made the show a guaranteed miss despite every review I've seen being positive. Literally.

This might be old news, but I just read that another 5 episodes will be coming out despite the show almost being cancelled earlier. Yay!

Anyone else here who watches it?

I hadn't looked into Jane the Virgin until now due to only seeing it mentioned in a negative context (it was smthn like "shows like X are pretty solid compared to JtV") but the premise is kinda neat o:

Edit: I mean aside from the fact that the earlier you get an abortion, the better, JANE.
