Um, I have a published book and several other works. And it depends on the venue. I have been a graphic design artist on lots of projects, using CS4-5. I have a degree in literature. Seriously.
Listen, pal, not knowing the difference between pole and poll definitely isn't the reason writers have editors. In fact, I'm pretty sure someone who doesn't know the difference between pole and poll won't land a writing gig. Also the writer isn't the one who pays the editor.
