day 4 is too early. many people play gold hearts just for fun and not for trophy. many people are not active for weeks and come back. if they dont get to play gold heart then

1- gold heart games wont fill

2- they will be mad they dont get to play what they want


this solution may stop gters (they can bypass this by joining early)

we already have a system in place that keeps players from joining the round if they got their 1500 points after the round has started


but this solution is just a cop out solution. it is like you dont wanna hold exhibitions because you are afraid of thiefs stealing everything.

we dont wanna ruin our fun because of gters. there are other solutions to gters. we report them and give them vios and they get suspended after 2 game related vios from the round. there is no need for a competitive lock down. this site is for fun and not for stopping gters.

If someone wants to cheat then they'll just enter the round day 1 and then wait till the last day to play man lol

If we want Competitive to be played just as red games : Whenever anyone feels like playing winnig or no winning, trying or no trying, Why we have competitive at all?

Why would you join the competitive round for 1 game after 4 months , without knowing the roles or how the setup is played, lose the whole games because you dont know mechanics then give up playing for another 4 months

it'd help to HINDER cheaters, but it'd probably stop more people that want to play a random comp game with one of their friends

not an awful idea by xxerox, but should probably be to accounts with a score of less than x amount, so casual players who come on the site once per month can still play

something like if your main lobby score is less than 15000 you have to join before day 4 to compete.

Just because you don't have a chance at winning the round doesn't mean you should be barred from continuing to play?

I actually kinda agree with this. Maybe after day 4 should be when you can't join the competition anymore.
