Heyyyy everyone, this'll be the main thread for the game I'm hosting, along with my cohosts, mist and Hibiki!
I. The Schedule:
36 hours per day, 12 hours per night.
I'm looking at a January 1st start date, but if the game fills up quickly it can start sooner! It'll likely begin at noon, PST, January 1st.
II. The Setup:
Normal closed roles setup, as always, with the roles and affixes listed below. Any role can be town or mafia, and have any number of affixes.
By default there are no Night 1 actions, including the mafia kill.
By default no role can self visit, except watcher.
Players who share a meeting may communicate outside the game at any time of day.
Players are always notified at day start if their role is changed.
One mafia always leads the kill, and it's always the one that submits the kill last. Each mafia will visit the kill target.
On death, players flip their role, alignment and affix type by default, but not their affix details.
III. Supermajority Lynch Rules:
We've decided to change this rule up a bit! Due to how people were lynched before they were even given a chance to speak, we're making it so that the supermajority lynch rule will take affect once 24 hours have passed. So if a day were to start at noon on Jan 1st, supermajority lynch rules will take affect at noon, Jan 2nd until midnight on Jan 3rd, and so on. If a supermajority lynch takes place (like 9/16 votes on someone) they are automatically lynched and this ends the day.
If you want to vote, use this "[b] vote: player name [/b]"
If you want to unvote, use this "[b] unvote: playername [/b]"
Anything that's not bolded will not be counted!
VI. Voting Log:
Since I'm not sharing accounts with a cohost, we're going back to the old voting log! Which is I will probably periodically post a voting log during the day if requested. (This is probably the hardest part about hosting)

Not sure what you think transpired in the brain that I claim is not allocated correctly and/or nonexistent. Like, "oh, I flipped maf, time to USE EXTRA WEIRD TERMINOLOGY"? Or maybe more like, "oh hey, I just thought of the word 'faux' while typing this because I am FAUX town."
EDIT: Oh okay yeah fair. I am and always have been overly self-conscious and a "tryhard," which is probably at least part of why Soda always scumreads me.

What's wrong with making up terms when you don't know the commonly used lingo for something? Also, for the last time, I was not sincerely saying they were faking it ZZZ
also i can't comprehend lilin's approach to this game. literally cannot compute. error 404: brain not found
EDIT: I mean faux is an overly fancy and pretentious french wrod but I intentionally use words that I wouldn't otherwise use to expand my vocabulary and horizons, therefore I am in the habit of sometimes using overly fancy and pretentious words such as FAUX (pronounced like "Foe," but I'm not your foe if you're town).

I took SirSlick's upvote as an agreement w/ the "there's nothing here to talk about yet" part as an excuse to lurk.
EDIT: I'm also not sure I fos SirSlick for it. IDK what was going through his mind exactly when he did it, but I can see mafia wanting to say something for themselves rather than just upvoting something and drawing attention to the fact that they're lurking.
You can see for yourselves here that I wasn't lying about being a tryhard that was bad at reading ppl. I don't know how to fix it, sorry.

i'm not gonna townread you for it cause i think it's something you would do as mafia. i didn't exactly mean force, i guess. just that you tend to towntell as mafia
What towntell would I be forcing here? I didn't do it consciously AKA didn't force it at all AKA am not mafia. I hope my affirmation of being town helps you decide if you think I'm town.
I actually debated on voting Claire when Tucker did, after rereading her two posts, but I'd rather abstain until she comes back. In the meantime, I'll be rereading to see if I actually want to VOTE Calvin yet (that's not a vote, that's me talking about voting, don't mark me as voted).
