One of my most memorable first few games of mafia, I was the cop in SDS and the mafia team was Conner, Sonsarey, and who ever else..
I had all three of them figured out day one based on them defending each other but they still strongarmed me to have me lynched. I'll never forget it. I burn inside every day remember that game

you have to judge person to person whether they would try to meta clear themselves as mafia. if you aren't sure then don't meta clear them. if you don't agree with someone's reads that's fine, you don't have to follow them. just try to figure out what specifically they don't like about whatever lines. if they are just bsing they're more likely mafia. a lot of this stuff will come naturally when you start playing more serious games
@Escurai ignore all these fools. if you want to get good, just dive right in and make mistakes. you learn how to read people by playing with them and you learn how to play people by playing them. eventually you learn by association how to win against pretty much anybody
