Nationalize Sandbox

Sandbox is one of the most used lobbies on this site after Main Lobby. It is one of the lobbies that is immediately offered to players on the tabs. However, unlike Main Lobby, Sandbox has its own system in place that can essentially ignore all site-wide rules.

eg. The owners and moderators of Sandbox are able to break any site-wide rule. Often, this comprises of making x-rated comments, HC, etc. They are able to clear the chatbox history themselves.

Thus, Sandbox should be nationalized under the site mods and admins.

A lobby that is popular should not be controlled by irresponsible, immature, and overly-sexual members of the community.

Unfortunately, ever since Christopherzilla left ownership of Sandbox to a toxic member, Sandbox has turned for the worst.

Sandbox's owner, Kenny, and the lobby's moderators have been essentially banning and muting whoever they please.

Since Sandbox is already widely used by many people, it is not fair that certain members are able to exert this type of power as they please.

Kenny and some of his moderators are the main problems with Sandbox.

  1. He instantly mutes anyone with a less-than appealing opinion/comment.

  2. He constantly posts suggestive material in chatbox and in comments. If confronted by it, he immediately deletes it and clears chatbox.

  3. He's turned Sandbox into a SJW infestation.

Sandbox should be removed from the default lobbies tabs if it can't be controlled by site staff.

Me, and You Terry have verry different tastes in what is "good" and what is "bad" I am starting to think Kenny is actually a good guy, based on your "good" mod listings such as Error and Devante.

Not really. Kenny is not fitting for lobby owner.
Terry no one is mad but you and that doesn't warrant sweeping changes.
I'm not the only one has dealt with this type of trigger-happy behavior from Kenny.

The point is that Sandbox is one of the default lobbies for new and old players alike. Site mods have literally no power and Kenny is free to ban anyone he'd like.

I voiced this concern months ago that Sandbox should be equally checked by site mods, not by toxic, unintelligent, immature imbeciles.

Devante is one of the worst mods. he never cared for anyone. Why do you think he would have done something?

Look, good mods are only those who are nice to everyone and try to do their best.

No one cares tbh. Sandbox is supposed to have no rules. If mods do shady stuff all the time, it is no one's problem.

I still dont see it. If you think Error is mod worthy, then Kenny is too. Then there is no reason to complain at all.
Kenny is nowhere near site-mod material.

How about no ? Error has showed before that he is just as bad as Kenny. Ke kept banning me from his games in Sandbox and Banned me from sandbox once he become a mod. And then i had to complain to get unbanned. Which i am thankfull he did. But if someone should be a new admin, that should be me. I always wanted a top position on this site.
Error's a pretty neat guy if you get to know him.

How about no ? Error has showed before that he is just as bad as Kenny. Ke kept banning me from his games in Sandbox and Banned me from sandbox once he become a mod. And then i had to complain to get unbanned. Which i am thankfull he did. But if someone should be a new admin, that should be me. I always wanted a top position on this site.

Can a moderator just remove Kenny?

His type of behavior is what repels people from staying in Sandbox. Any different opinion and you'll be ostracized.

2 options:

1. Get rid of all Sandbox mods/admins, only moderate community violations

2. Get rid of all Sandbox mods/admins, have site mods deal with the entire lobby

either way involves getting rid of kenny

and mods probably think this is an admin/lucid thing when any site mod has the ability to remove kenny or give him an ultimatum

Eh, as I recall wasn't the owner of survivor lobby basically threatened with removal of survivor from the tabs if he didn't stop banning everyone he didn't like? I think there's some precedence, but it's not up to the appointed admins either, it's more in Lucid's corner tbh as site owner.

To be frank, I'd really like Kenny ousted.

If Kenny were removed and Sandbox was only moderated for community violations, that would be fantastic.

Not sure if lack of moderation would be helpful for Sandbox.

Part of me thinks it would be fun to not have mods, but the reasonable side thinks it's sort of needed.

Abe is also right that I'm rather peeved by Kenny's abuse of power. Both issues are problematic.
