eh, fugg it. You made a cheater who has historically been filled with poor decisions a mod. As a person I enjoyed speaking with him. As a mod he has been instrumental in eroding the foundation of the site further than most people have done in years.
To you this is a joke. I enjoy this site for select few times during the year because I enjoy the game. Because I'm too busy to enjoy it for most of the year. Many times I have felt I can no longer enjoy it because of these few things. These are a scratch on the surface. These are easy fixes.
I know you enjoyed this site at one point slowbro. You have become cynical like most other "old" users. I have been here for years. That is how much I enjoy the game. For once I'm petitioning for people to do the right thing for a game we all fell in love with.
first off, mods and admins should be held accountable. Petitions only have meaning if they are acted upon. This involves all things. If the community feels an admin is insufficient in performing their duties, they should step down. This is how it is in all things.
Mods are a police force, yet through public opinion we can hold them up to the ideals they are meant to uphold. If you deny us that right, you alienate the populace and anarchy ensues. I admit I have gamethrown many times before. I have been banned for months and years. Since I have come back for cheating at a time ripe with cheaters, I have fought the mod team. You need to be held accountable. I am held accountable. I do not deny my misdeeds. Why can you?
Rule changes, should not be the decision of a select few. This affects everyone. This should be a vote where majority rules. When you break a role like doc it should not be the decision of 15 people when it affects 100. or 1000. It should affect the few who care enough to vote on this rule.
If you want the site to stop this clear downward slide, you will right these wrongs. You will be the change we need. We may not deserve it, but it needs to happen. Pandering to 1/100th (generous) of the population will not fly. Fix these things. Fix what is unanimously decided to be broken. Or enjoy having the eventual smoldering ashes to be the popular crowd of.
This is not your efriends meeting. New users are down. Don't lie, you can see the slow down in new users. Even with multi account users, you know unique IP's are down.
