I mean, for the people that are saying I'm reviewing this with bias since I'm his friend - I'm the one you're saying is going to be negatively impacted by this? I'm the runner that this "wouldn't be fair to" that's topping the leaderboard.

Guess what - I have 0 complaints on the situation. If he winds up making my trophy 1 step less shiny, tough luck. He deserves it if he does.

if i recall, the rule was once you get 1000 score, you're running. so anything underneath that qualifies you as a non-runner and you can do golden hearts. but then again, if you decide you're running before that, it's fine to not do them before you get 1k
yup, that was a pretty strict rule for quite some time so it's weird that nobody told gerry until now

either way he wasn't informed, so he won't be punished.

if joce and jeff want to continue the stupid rule then they can prevent him from moderating 35% of the reports filed, to show some kind of consistency. However it's really not hard to either A. mod comp reports that don't include other runners
B. mod comp reports that include other runners unbiasedly

he's not going to be suspended for it, because that would be stupid. if he's correctly handling reports he's moderating it doesn't matter
it does though. do you not see what pranay said?
mods are not allowed to handle gold heart reports if they're running it has literally always been that way

he shouldn't be a mod at all imo

doesnt matter if he's a new mod or not. it is the responsibility of him and other mods to tell him the rules

I talked to him about it. He's convinced he's going to be suspended for it.

I don't think he will be/I don't see a reason for him to be. He's a new mod and he only did it because he was unaware.

asking a runner not to have bias in golden heart reports is like asking a human not to rule against someone they hate when its a borderline violation report. it's impossible

I remember very well giga not being allowed to trophy because he was a moderator and had done gold heart reports. Same was for steven as well.
