basically this guy is a secret service officer whose task is to locate 2 missing officers who went missing while on a mission or some crap
while driving he ends up getting into a car accident and then wakes up in a hospital, his wife and son are informed of the car accident but his condition and location is unknown, he wakes up in a hospital bed and everything seems off,
accommodations are made for him for some reason, even though he's supposedly just hours away from his home. Everyone in the town seems really strange & eventually he finds one of the agents dead in a house, he confronts the towns sheriff who seems dissociated learning about the body and does little to nothing, he eventually finds the other missing officer alive in a house with her husband. when he asks her how long she's been in the town for she says 20 years, but she's only been missing for like 5 weeks.
He is also unable to leave the town
