i think it's good to live alone when you're either a junior or senior because you're usually busy with a job, school organization, classes, etc

My first dorm roommate was the worst ever. I was an unpaid babysister having to deal with a subhuman ape unable to control his substance abuse leading him to come stumbling in at 4am waking me up before my 7am class lolz
