Need to go on a tangent here about how ashamed I am that artists like Grimes think attaching themselves to the weird and dystopian 2015 future where you have kids writing katakana for ""aesthetic"" purposes and just indulging themselves into being as abstract as possible is now the hip and cool thing to do. It's some twisted reality where going against social norms is now the norm, like a counter-culture of sorts. Grimes pretty much made a product of our times that won't last because it's trite and feels like some sort of long running joke that you're supposed to acknowledge willingly despite the joke still being awful regardless

ok so for those who know Bleachers, this album is basically a bunch of covers of songs from Strange Desire, but actually most of the songs got better (ironically, I Wanna Get Better became a lot worse...)
