Noobs still test guilty

And worse- they lynch for 2 mafia

Here one cop innod the miller, other guiltied it. So the town decided to test the guilty.

Psychometry was so adamant that it was the optimal move.

Lucky for town the mafia failed to kill doctor and town won.

But in next game, i called it. That town will test guilty and I will take advantage of it.

Apparently, lynching mafia is not optimal, lynching a town to find mafia is more optimal. Or lynching a town to get 2 mafia.

in the first scenario in the OP; testing the guilty in jan when one cop guilties and one cop innos them is actually optimal, because if it flips nilla then 100% of the time the cop who guiltied them is real. and in the event the mafia guilted their lawyered nilla you still have a ml.
i've found recently that every time a town has tested in that situation it's the lawyered nilla and then we promptly waste the ml on the real cop

every other scenario of guilty testing is usually wrong though and i do it only when i don't wanna read in cops

i agree with you on that one system. let's lynch the guy for two mafia and lose the mislynch as opposed to keeping it.

Actually shooting/lynching for 2 mafia is objectively correct, but that requires there not to be a miller in the game and if you were doing it for 2 mafia you'd be lynching the cop with the guilty. Cheers.

Weird, I hate to fight tooth and nail yesterday to lynch a guilty who was really obvious mafia.

I kinda agree with pranay here, far too many people insist on guilty testing no matter what in this situation.

Guilty testing is viable as loreli poitned out, but at this point alot of players seem to jump to guilty testing as an automatic response.

Testing guilty isn't objectively correct but is a viable strategy which I utilise reasonably often - generally when I scumread the guilty.
