Are made to be given. New players don't give kudos after games, I personally give a kudo almost every single game I play.
Here's my idea: Force people into giving Kudo, without seeing whom the other players gave first, so you can give Kudo honestly, based on their play in that game.

Force people into giving Kudos at the end of the game, AND force them into giving Kudos BEFORE they see whom other players gave.
Not true at all, maybe this may be true when it comes to new players or salty ones, but when I deserve a kudo as Mafia I usually get it. (By people who know how to play Mafia, and know how to respect others)

I think kudos are really dumb and should be removed from the game anyways
if you win as mafia the chances of you actually recieving kudos is nearly impossible, which is why kudos doesn't really matter.
rutab and trepur's idea can potentially help though..

No, in games that nobody deserves a kudo people should just vote the player that didn't play too badly or just vote randomly, this way no one should get a kudo.

"Mafia wins! This game was ranked. Don't forget to vote for who you think deserves a kudo!"

It can be useful if a Kudo reset happens and this idea gets implemented, so it becomes a regular, helpful statistic.
nobody gives kudos unless somebody asks for them. i've owned so many games since i'm such a great player and gotten zero kudo votes for it, because i never ask for them. the kudo system needs some type of incentive for people to do it if we want it to be relevant again. either way i dont care lol
I don't think kudos should be mandatory, because there are some games that nobody deserved a kudo for, but I do think the voting screen should be more obvious and more encouraged to vote.
