Currently, a bunch of accounts are compromised due to hidden linking. I'm making this topic to make a reference on who all got compromised. If you're viewing this topic and your account was compromised, then the best thing I'd recommend is to just make a new account for now.
yeahhh, congratz. but i believe hackers started with people whom they believed were unsophisticated enough to follow such shady procedure to get colors.
you see, the guy with 10000 points would risk it if they might get colors cause they would just make a new account if they got hacked. But MCF745 or whoever can completely mess up multiple rounds using those accounts. ofc we have a list of them and everything but using them, they are hacking new accounts on a daily basis. All it takes to stop this is to raise awareness using what we got in hand. then again we can just let this go on for even longer than this so epicmafia.com's competition is dead completely which means :RIP: EM.

or also give them the ability to retract/delete private messages that have already been sent
or maybe make it so that mass private messages need to pend for a certain amount of time before being sent out, all while being on display for other mods
for you maybe, cause you spend hours on this website. regular joe of em.com doent know about ABC, rednose and all other banned users. they would think 'why would a lowlife spend all his day sending out PMs to people only to hack their accounts? specially mine, I only have 80 games and I've lost 53, I suck HAHA therefore the PM must be trustworthy. Let's try this out'

Maybe just give admins a mass PM option, one would hope an admin account doesn't get jacked.

I would suggest having announcements automatically PM'd to every user but that could turn out bad if a mod account were to ever get hijacked
tbh I blame the admin for the 'link for colors' masshack. Only barely half of EM knows an 'Announcements' table exists and not surprisingly users who are mostly targeted are the people who just log in to play a few FPs each day and don't know anything about that part of the main page.
Anyways, if you want this to stop (I got the free color message for the first time just today) warn people on the main lobby background, sth like that ... orrr you can just sit around and do nothing so more people go on this list.
And people were talking about deleting account... just unlink these alts and done, worse was when people told to delete accounts if compromised. But... they might keep your account logged as long as you don't log in EM from second device instead of 7 proxies and similar crap.
