Currently, a bunch of accounts are compromised due to hidden linking. I'm making this topic to make a reference on who all got compromised. If you're viewing this topic and your account was compromised, then the best thing I'd recommend is to just make a new account for now.
reason i'm being harsh on people is there are serious lessons to be learned for internet safety in general. just because something *APPEARS* to be real doesn't mean it is, always check for a legitimate source.

yeah, but my hack was different to all of these. i was legitimately hacked, by someone who actually knew what they were doing, and not just by some scrub who relies on exploiting the ignorance of these feeble newbs. idk how i was hacked, most likely some unpatched hidden-link of some sort. i presumed that foxie and lucid had patched up all the hidden links so i wasn't closely monitoring what i was clicking on.
see, the difference here is that these people are willingly giving away something called a "rack session". i'm fairly computer-illiterate, but i know that's not something you just give away; not to a friend, another mod, heck i wouldn't even give that to sims himself. i can't fathom how these people didn't even think to check with someone else, whether that be sims/mod/a friend before handing over something like that.
look, i realize an epicmafia account isn't much of a big deal. but this is a serious reflection on the logical capabilities of these people - if they get their accounts compromised THAT easily, then boy, they better be much more considerate when it comes to more serious things otherwise they can kiss their whole bank account's goodbye.
Dear Blister: I didn't give my password or cookies session to anyone, and still got compromised. Didn't you go through the same thing a couple of rounds ago? Stop insulting people, thanks.
LOL do you really share your password to mods? This scam is so old as the world.

The34 minutes ago Lucid has implemented a solution that will log you out if you try to do anything from an IP address that you did not log in on. This will stop Ferhunde's method of compromising accounts, but if she tries something different, just know to NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD to anyone, even if they claim to be a mod.
A normal website would take notice that the PM system is a huge security liability and disable it until further notice, not blame the users and call them stupid.

is the name change key not available since it was used on lucid?
