It's a really good game. Mostly because of the characters and writing and overall message--the game engine itself is just a turn based RPG smashed with bullet hell. But even that's pretty intuitive and unique. I have yet to finish it but I basically know everything, whoops. :^)
Sans is my favorite but it's gotten to a point where doing his genocide fight is very therapeutic.
i can beat undyne the undying with my eyes closed, its just ddr for babies. i mean monster kid could even beat her and they dont even have arms

there's a reason for this
if you, like me, feel the need to "complete" a game / discover as much as you can about it, you'll do the genocide run. It's like in Assassin's Creed where you're collecting flags or something, you don't enjoy doing that, you just want the satisfaction of completion. the game does its best to try and put you off doing the run. the music is shittier (apart from undyne + sans fight), the grinding is boring, there's hardly any interaction with the world and there are the tough boss fights which take many attempts usually. right at the end there's the wait for chara to take your SOUL. YOU'RE LIKENED TO THE MAIN VILLAIN IN THE RUN, flowey talks about how he must try all the possibilities, no matter what the consequences are just to see what happens.

Yea, genocide does complete it even tho u gotta kill em all. also u have to do it right or you gotta restart, genocide feels much more like a game than an experience to me

i enjoyed the 2 hours of genocide run more than the 6 hours of pacifist

honestly, once you've played the pacifist run, the genocide run completes the experience so perfectly and adds so much more depth
