generally speaking "stacked" 8 player tables usually ended up terrible and with lots of butthurt

you need a mix of personalities

you cant play any of the setups in the first 2 tiers with this player base, theres no 8 players who are good enough to make an exciting table anymore

1.Tier BEST: TEO, Lobl , reverse mafia
2.Tier GOOD: Bv, b2ns, politics as usual, noob traitor, framed drunk
3.Tier SATISFACTORY: jingle all the way, vdli, janitorial, o2r,
4.Tier BAD: basic logic, c-14
5.Tier DON'T PLAY: fancy pants, stbs, any setup that involves sleeping, crying, dreaming, and shooting guns
6.Tier It's not bad but I can't pick a tier for it : sds, gai , sex and lies,

GOD TIER: Fancy Pants

TRASH TIER: ALL other setups

I have looked quite deep in the setups on epicmafia for a while. I noticed, most of them are just not playable. There's so much spam that I wish someone would delete them all to make room for actually legit setups.

Also, most setups play the same or take use of similar mechanics without renovating. All setups should aim to add something new that makes it stand out on its own.

this is extremely difficult given the setup/role limitations on the site, as well as the tendencies of the playerbase and limitations of chat (anything bigger than 10 players is unplayable in a serious game)

God tier: DLYV

Advanced Tier: Cry n' Oh, Don't Lose Yo Guvna, GAI, lolnoobtraitormafialose, Suppa Magical Grey Scales.

Good Tier: Jan 2.0, Basic Variant, Andrea, Kittenz Was The Hooker, Scumhunt Champ 3, Jingle All The Way, B2NS, Who Watches The Watcher, hollywood illusions, Overturn 2 Andrea, Terribad Cop

Meh Tier: All Giga setups except the one mentioned above, Politics, Fool Training 3, O2R, A framed drunk driver(I think it's pretty good but I'm really confused by it), STBS(overrated), Basic Logic(boring as hell), Cry n Spy. Now there's a ton more meh setups but I'm gonna stop here.


BAD TIER: I'm gonna go with the setups that are played in competitive and they have no place there, justice frontier 2.0, justice frontier 3.0(the other sheriff setup), Don't Lose Yo Village, Silence of the Lambs, Dawn of the Sheep,

There are really good obscure setups like mine: Glee Club - unique style of gameplay completely new and not recycled like all other setups on this website and completely fair to all sides.

Another one is: Boondock Saints(the best classic mafia variant ever, made by PublicEnemy)

And yet another one is and terribly underrated: samrai fihgt under honor moon! - simply the best samrai experience in mafia history.
