Intentionally making someone lose

timewalker102about 11 years ago

Intentionally making someone lose when you both can win at the same time should count as trolling. For example, when both spy and killer can joint to hit BP in Coco, spy hitting killer (or visa versa) should count as trolling.

This is because actions like these are always done with the intention to troll. Of course, if you need someone to lose so your own win condition can be fulfilled, then this is acceptable. However, intentionally stopping their win condition when both of you clearly can win together should be trolling.

backstabbing is completely legitimate and has nothing to do with trolling

Yeah in most cases if you win by yourself you get more points, ja?
Nope you get exactly the same number of points. its just a jerk move to decide that you are the only one who can win, rather than giving someone else points too.
you're wrong. it's more points to win solo.

town wins.

Making someone else lose is not trolling/gamethrowing, only if you lose yourself, which is obviously not happening by killing the player you could joint with.

If both killer and spy backstab each other in coco's at the end of a game, does the win go to village or does it end with being unranked?

No.
If you're playing to your own win conditions you don't need to be a good sportsman.
just for clarification purposes, this was just for his Coco's example. If the spy hits the killer when they're going to win that night as a backstab it shouldn't be trolling or anything, it's just a backstab and that's just how life works. You can't punish someone for that

I don't really get or agree with the trolling rule. It seems like a catch-all for anyone who's ever a .

Coco could just have red vs. black instead of black vs. sk like similar setups https://epicmafia.com/setup/572738

It just means that you will be known as a target to kill in Coco's. IDK I haven't seen people report it enough times to decide.
