Graveyard no cheating edition

deleteddeletedabout 11 years ago

We all know when your dead your able to see night/day actions and mafia or guns and whispers

What if we removed this in ranked your not able to see night/day actions you cannot see whispers(unless the leak) so poeple cant alt anymore unless Alt a is on town and Alt b is on mafia. Then alt A will still able to out mafia but this will decrease cheating by a high percentage

Should those graveyard features removed?

you should let people gy-spectate ranked games then
Uh, no
?
Are you suggesting we should let random people not in game spectate ranked games from a graveyard perspective?

If not, sorry
from decreased gy perspective (as in OP), yes

I oppose this. GY is one very redeeming point of this site when at times it can be hard.

if you're going to change anything about ranked games, make it so if u leave a ranked game after you die you're able to rejoin to spectate it.

i can't tell u how many times i got lynched as town and rage sui'd only to wonder what the town was doing the following days - only to realize i sui'd and can't go back till the end of the game :(

Don't do this. It will only make it harder for us to determine if users are cheating or not and make graveyards not entertaining at all.
exactly

idk, i can see it being fun trying to figure out who the mafia is from the graveyard but i guess you're probably right that it's a loss.

if it's only hiding roles and not speech then whatever fine
deleteddeletedabout 11 years ago
it'd obviously reduce the impact of cheating, but graveyard vision is also probably one of the most amusing/educational facets of this game

Yeah I really don't see this making much of a difference to be honest but it could be worth a shot?
It's really not.

"Let's punish the masses because of the
few"
this is correct. graveyard vision owns, lucid.
AdrenalineMimeabout 11 years ago
people that cheat by sharing roles from gy are already contacting players out-of-game, meaning those people can still cheat via rolesharing, information sharing, etc.
so freqeuncy will not decrease

i dont think this will decrease cheating by a high percentage but whatever
But it does decrease it quite a bit because you know all mafia prs in night or day etc
that only reduces the in-game impact of cheating [by a large percent], not its frequency.
