Gerryoat1 was given a time frame. 24 hours. But then he was given the vio just because 3 other mods voted for the vio (without seeing his explanation). Honestly, this is bs. If you give someone a set amount of time to explain themselves, then you should stick to that time. This vio was unjustified due to the fact that the other 3 mods probably did not see his explanation, and also because the mod did not stick to his word about the time constraints. This vio, in my eyes, is very biased for the mod who gave gerryoat1 the vio. I'm not making this post because gerryoat1 said to or asked for help. I made this post because the report I just read was utter bs and should be re-evaluated because it was so unfair to the person defending himself. Not to mention, he did bring his explanation within the time constraint.

at the minimum, gerry should be disqualified from future runs for a significant amt of time.

but since he's completely lying about not knowing that meta abuse is tantamount to cheating, imo, he should stay site/lobby banned.
