One person gets prosecutor, one person gets defense. They each vouch for the respective side.
There is one main suspect, who either did or did not kill the victim.
Then the rest are jury, and they talk about it deciding if they are innocent or guilty.
It would function like epic mafia, but instead focus on one main court trial. It could last 2-3 days if the jury doesn't reach a proper conclusion, and needs more time to think about it. But during each of these times, the true killer can strike again!

as soon as an innocent person is vote guilty, they are lynched, and the game moves on. However, the prosecutor gets his win immediately, and a new prosecutor is selected from the jury.
At day start, the prosecutor is allowed to select the suspect, they are allowed to consult with the town before making this decision, and this even includes the cop. But killer can claim cop, ect ect. There would need to be some specific roles, and a lot of kinks would need to be worked out, but this is just the basic Idea.
