Among the large crowd of idiots in the restaurant, you find the customers that propose the whackiest exotic meals to add on the menu. Some customers proposed things you found ridiculous, and thus they weren't worth considering any more.

You take a look at the menu. Clearly, the best option here is classic burger. You hear someone over the table order a poutine with shredded pork with tom yum soup. Wow, do they have bad taste, they have no idea what they are doing!
Around certain people, your behaviour in the restaurant drastically changes. Other times, you can pleasantly dine. It seems you want to keep a good spot at the table you're eating.
It seems you are aware this restaurant is not good for your health. But it doesn't matter if you leave this restaurant or not, because there's so many more nearby. If you leave this one, you'll find another one.
