Yeah to be fair I don't really agree with the "tough it out" policy. I mean thats kind of like promoting getting screamed at irl and verbally abused and u just have to sit there... and take it. yknow, instead of doing the logical thing and yknow, leaving..

But the best thing is that it's not irl and that it is, in fact, the internet.

Agreed, it's also the reason why a lot of the new players immediately leave the site.

Also, your friend committed the violation known as Game Throwing. I noted her as well, instead of giving the full violation, because you two were in similar circumstances. Both of you need to read the rules and make sure you understand what to do and what not to do so that you don't get punished. That, and you don't wrongly report someone for something they won't get a violation for.

He wasn't rude enough to you to receive a violation. This website is not all about cupcakes and rainbows. People will be harsh. This is a psychological game, so there will be times people will strategically make you upset and angry so that they can manipulate you into believing what they want you to believe. Sometimes they will be nasty, but you have to tough it out. If you go to the rules page I linked above, you can read the rules for Harassment and Hateful Comments. If anyone continually harasses you (more than just noob, moron, etc.), then report them. If anyone excessively uses slurs to insult you, your friends, or any other players, report them and they may or may not receive the violation depending on the circumstances.
